The Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted a three-day Investigative Skills training for the Roads Fund Administration\u2019s Institutional Integrity Committee. The course was held at Chikho hotel, Mponela from 20 to 22nd July 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training purpose of the training, was to enhance the participants skills on how they can effectively investigate and manage reported cases of corruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking on the sidelines of the training, one of the resource persons who is also Senior Corruption Prevention Officer, Lydia Nandi Kawiya Phiri said, \u201cthis training has come at the right time to instill skills on issues of enforcement to IIC members. Complaints management is not only about investigation; it is also about prevention.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In her remarks, Phiri stated that, \u201cWe expect that after the training, the participants will be able to establish corruption, register complaints, investigate cases, how to get preliminary information of cases and how to report to management.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In her remarks one of the course participant, Farida Chikhandwe, thanked the ACB and RFA management for organizing the training. \u201cThe training has equipped us with skills to analyse issues evidence based and not assumptions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Faridah further noted that that the training has come at the right time when the RFA is undergoing cultural change. \u201cCorruption is a culture, we build, we can dig it and we can control, we can deter it, this is the opportunity to instill and embrace a zero tolerance to corruption culture, she said.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A total of seven participants attended the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
