Roads Fund Administration, wins 2025 ECAM’s Quality, Innovation and Productivity Award
On Friday 6 December 2025, the Roads Fund Administration (RFA) won two 2025 Employers’ Association of Malawi (ECAM) awards. The awards were on first position Quality, Innovation and Productivity and third position in Human Resource Management and Development. The awards were held at Amaryllis hotel in Blantyre and the Minister of Labour, Skills and Innovation, Hon. Joel Chigona, M.P. presented the awards.
The finalists were assessed by an independent Jury led by the High Court Judge, Justice Pemba. Illovo Sugar was nominated the overall best employer of the year 2025.
The RFA awards are a result of its significant investment in quality, innovation and productivity which enabled it to get ISO 9001:2015 certification by South Africa SACAS. RFA’s also made very good strides in human resource development by providing training to most of its staff in various skills including leadership development programmes.
In his remark, the RFA chief executive officer, said that the awards are a great milestone and affirms our dedication to customer service, continuous improvement of our work, policies, environment.”
This is the first time the RFA has participated in the ECAM’s best employers’ awards.
The RFA is a public entity established under the Roads Fund Administration Act with a mandate to mobilise, manage, and account for funds for the maintenance and rehabilitation of public road network in Malawi.
