The Roads Fund administration manages on behalf of Government funds committed to Malawi Government by Development Partners, Grants, Donors and Creditors.
The funds are for construction of new roads, upgrading from earth to bitumen and rehabilitation of roads.
The RFA works in consultation with the Ministry of Finance through Economic Planning & Development and the Ministry of Transport & Public Works and the Roads Authority in financing the roads.
The Development Budget is guided by the Public Sector Investment Plan which is updated annually.
