Prior to the commencement of every financial year, the Roads Authority prepares an Annual National Roads Programme (ANRP) – a consolidation of all annual roads’ programmes for the country.
In preparing the ANRP, the Roads authority consults the Roads Fund Administration to match the cost of implementing the ANRP with revenues to be allocated to the Roads Authority by the Roads Fund Administration.
The ANRP is approved by the Minister of Transport and Public Works and it is submitted to the RFA for funding.
The Roads Fund Administration funds the ANRP in accordance with the signed Annual Financing Agreements.
The funds of the Roads authority for operating and capital expenditures are from the Roads Fund and are advanced to the Roads Authority by the Roads Fund Administration on a monthly bais in accordance with the approved cash flows included in the Financing Agreement.
